Last night I was looking over the toledo source code thinking about how I should really update it.
Something shiny caught my eye, and I ended up doing everything but. A few minutes ago, I got an email from a guy in Holland who is working on making the AM03128 work with a microcontroller. He's using my code to figure out how to "talk" to the sign.
I often wonder if there would be anyone else in the world that would get any use out of my code. Now I know there is at least one person, and that's pretty freakin' awesome.

Hi,
there is another person out there: me! :-)
I'm using your code on a linux machine (debian etch) to power my AM03127 as a newsticker. Your code is the driver to the display. The other parts of the software are mainly written in php. But it is not as far to release something, but still my AM is for some use now.
Thank you very much for your good work. Maybe you will update it in the near future since you know now that it is useful at least for some people. :-)

Holy Schnikes!
Michael, that's great news! Who knew!?
If you (or anyone else) has a project related to these Amptron LED boards, let me know. If you want space to host your project, I will be more than happy to host you!
I've been using my Amptron board with a Nagios server for quite some time, perhaps I should share this with the world.
Thanks for the update.

Hi,
thank you for the offer. As soon as I have something to release I will hand it to you. At the moment it's not more than a bunch of scripts with hard coded values. I plan to build a fully customable newsticker-system (based on RSS-Feeds) with a webinterface to control.
By now my time for that is very limited but I hope the I will have something at hand this spring.
Greetings from Germany
