Quick Notes from the Desert

Just a few odds'n'ends rattling around in my head

Etisalat is not actively blocking AIM, but port 5190 doesn't work here, change to 5191 and it works fine

When you are a zillion miles from home, real mail really brightens the day

Handwritten letters/notes speak volumes about the sender

I wish I had legible handwriting

"The Pleasure of My Company" is good, but short and anti-climatic

"Night Watch" and "Day Watch" are horrible films

Adobe AIR is very promising, in a scary sort of way

I need to kill FREON, and I dislike MTs reliance on PERL, WP perhaps....

AppleScript + Nabaztag made super easy!
