eBay + Fair Contest = Cheaters

May 20th, 2006 at 2:32PM in

To put it bluntly, I am pissed (not in the english sense, in the redneck trailer sense). I've been playing the DaVinci code challenge, and managed to make it to the final round. All for nought, since people have decided to sell their answers on eBay. I understand why people are willing to cheat in a contest where there is a prize involved. Everyone wants something for nothing.

What pisses me off to no end is that there are people willing to ruin the entire contest for everyone else by helping others cheat.

Case in point

eBay Cheater #1

eBay Cheater #2

What these shit stains have managed to do is profit from screwing everyone else who submitted a legitimate entry in the final contest. With the final answers in hand, the amount of skill required to complete the contest has been reduced to virtually null.

Frankly, this sucks, and flies in direct violation of the contest rules and the spirit of the "contest".

Unfortunately, the odds of anyone taking action against these no talent assclowns is so slim I've already accepted defeat and the contest isn't even over.

eadamowsky, ashmon, I hope the two of you rot in hell.

And for the asswipes that bought the answers, I can understand why you bought them. That said, I am wishing horribly bad things upon you, the details of which would draw the attention of the Department of Homeland Security. Die cocksmokers.
