It seems that every seller, including reputable ones, plays the eBay feedback hostage game.
You know the type, they refuse to leave feedback until you've received your item and left them feedback. This is bullshit. If I bid on, and win, an item, these assclowns should leave me positive feedback ASAP.
No exceptions. I've paid them their money, usually within an hour of the auction close, I am a good eBayer. Period.
Instead, I invariably have to wait until I receive the item, verify that it doesn't suck, and with some, wait up to three days until I get feedback, and usually it's a canned response.
It's total horseshit.
Sadly, the way the system is set up, there is no way to force these cock smokers into leaving feedback promptly. Instead, I have to worry "Uh oh, what if this assface doesn't leave me feedback? Worse, what if the item is broken/wrong, I attempt to contact them for a return/replacement, and they leave me retailiatory feedback?"
It's gaytastic, and if there were a viable alternative to eBay, I would consider it. </rant>
Also, I saw "V for Vendetta" tonight. Not too shabby. I don't know if I would recommend rushing out to the theaters to see it ASAP, but it's worth the watch. Which reminds me....
Hollywood is truly out of ideas.
I saw "The Hills Have Eyes" the other night (rent it, don't waste your money)...it's a remake of course. The only preview I caught? For the fucking Omen. Tonight? "Poseidon". That's at least two fucking remakes. And let's not forget that "V for Vendetta" is yet another comic book movie. Let's do a quick rundown, shall we?
Remakes
Sequels
And that's just what I can think of, I am sure there are about a billion others. As I recall there is yet another fucking "Hulk" movie on the way, but at this point I am too goddamned disgusted to check IMDB.
A few years ago I had a hard time believing someone greenlit a Wonder Twins movie (it was later, thankfully, scrubbed). These days, I am finding it hard to believe I haven't seen the trailer for the sequel.
*"The Other Side" isn't actually based on a comic book or video game, that I am aware of at least. However the story reads like it came straight from "Spawn" or "Painkiller"**
**There is apparently a "Pain Killer" movie, but I don't think it has anything to do with the game.
