I am a 28 year old geek living in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Employment wise, I've done a bit of everything. Sand blaster/painter, laser tag technician, software developer, system administrator, snowboard instructor, retail store manager, aerial cable splicer, bartender, the list goes on.

These days I occupy my time engaging in frivolous bits of hackery; dissecting an LED sign protocol, enabling SNMP monitoring of (basically) everything, parsing output from an ODB II connection, breaking my Nabaztag/tag & Chumby, and pretty much anything else that strikes my fancy.

Development wise, I've worked with a broad spectrum of languages, Python, Perl, PHP, C, Applescript, G2, etc. Although I feel it's safe to say that I am still a far cry from mastery in any particular discipline.

I've had photos published by InFocus" magazine, an article in Soura photography, and contribute on a Semi-Regular basis to Shuffle.

My chain of platform preferences ranks OS X/Mac the highest, FreeBSD, Linux, IRIX, anything else, with Win32 taking up last (or close to last) place.

I currently hold MCSE, MCSA, CCNA certifications, although I intend to pursue others at a later date.
